Randolfo, I was also working at Crane Hill from 65-66. I was an ETR and worked on some of the RADAR systems, RADAR repeaters, the mapping system. I was also responsible for the digital door locks. I also spent most of my free time in the water (still do!). I was working at NSD Communications prior to that. I was living at Bay Hill when I first got there, Moved to a house on Admin Hill and then to a barracks at the Naval Air Station. My company did business with the military in Guantanamo Bay for a number of years starting in 2005. brought back a lot of memories. -- Gary

I don't want to be too repetitive, but some of you folks should consider attending our 2013 Guantanamo Bay Reunion in Chattanooga. It will be October 6-10, and you can get details at our website www.gitmobay.org. We always have a great time and new people join us every year. It doesn't matter when you served on THE ROCK, come and have fun.
I was stationed at Crane Hill with the Naval Security Group while at Gtmo in 1965 to 1967 and lived in the Bay Hill Barracks for 6 months until my family was able to come to Gtmo. I remember the Khaki shorts uniform and visiting the Barrell Club. Most of all I remember the giant Iguanas who would wander into the club seeking food.
