Thank you for your warm welcome Chief Karr. Its nice to find a site that actualy has Sailors talking about the Navy.
I like your pictures of the Regulus very much. Did you work with the system? Its got a great history. I guess you can tell that I'm an ordnance type. Torpedomans Mate (surface).
I have to tell my father about this site, he was a Sonarman on USS Lawrence DDG-4.

Thank You! I was so interested in this site! I was trying to find pictures of the Old NTC San Diego! I visited the place I went to boot camp last weekend and was so shocked to see it gone> I know that it closed in 1997, but can't get that training out of my mind. I was 17 at that time (1976); a great year and celebration!!! Hope to find someone on this site that went through the training on my graduation week!!
