Herbert, I was reading your profile and saw that you were stationed at Sampson Naval Training Base. My Dad went to basic there in the the later years of WWII. I was really surprised to see you live in Punta Gorda. I grew up there (60's and 70's), left to 'See the world' - San Diego.
