"Served on Midway from 1970 - 1971. I was an ATN2 in AIMD, supervisor of avionics shop 3 just below the flight deck. Began in Hunters Point bringing Midway out of drydock and through sea trials. Completed first WestPac tour after restoration."
"Tim, I was also in the Blue Jacket choir, San Diego between February and March 1968. I sang baritone, and thankful I was able to sing on the recording session in LA. I think I was the only sailor from Kansas in the choir when I graduated.

I was 1st tenor in the choir and one of two from Iowa when I graduated. You wouldn't have a picture of your grad class, would you. Seemed to have missed placed mine.
Not sure we graduated at the same time, but were is the choir at the same time. I entered Boot 12-14-67.
Anyway, I have tried to locate the recording we made on line but could only find the military mentally we did. But I know I still have the recording someplace in the storage, and when I find it, I'll make a CD of it and get it to you. Please forward an email or your mailing address. I'm not certain how soon this will happen, but I'll get it done for you. If you do find a recording let me know.
