Where were you or your family stationed?
I started with boot camp in Orlando, FL 31Aug83 to Oct83. Did seaman/firefighting school there also. Then, went to San Francisco, Treasure Island, CA with a group for firefighter training for 4 weeks. All of us were then sent to Adak, Alaska. From there I transferred to Naval Station San Diego, CA waterfront OPS. Met my husband there; we reenlisted and were transferred to Pearl Harbor, HI. I was stationed at SIMA. After my tour there was up I got out so I could take care of our special needs twins. My husband retired.
