I agree, I recall several times when were had ships on both the port and starboard side for unreps. A very tricky manuever for the helmsman. Standing on a bridge wing or on deck you just don't have the view that the helo pilots have. It really is a sight.
never seen it from this angle, being down on deck in the thick of it, busy with the details, one could never grasp the awesome power showing in such close proximity
