At around 10:00PM on Nov 22, The USS Belknap and John F. Kennedy Collided in the Ionian Sea. The USS Claude V, Ricketts tied up to her and assisted in damage control and unloading weapons. A lot of heroes were made that night on all three ships. As what I believe to be an interesting note, the very same Soviet Frigate offered to assist within weeks of causing us to go into G.Q. (no, not the magazine).
