Was with this unit when they were embarked on Paul Revere. Really nice group of guys.
I was going to YN A school at Bainbridge, MD. gave a chief there two bottles of whiskey to get be transfered from Paul Revere to TACRON !!
Was with this unit from October 1971 to Feb 1973.
This is the current units logo, Was a great unit to be with about 15 Officers and 40 enlisted men. Mostly all pilots, with even a Marine and army officer thrown in.
Our job was to to control the air operations during a amphious assault. At Sea we practiced doing that a couple hours every morning, the rest of the day, we played cards and watched movies in our space.
