  • Tommy, A good friend of mine in high school found in a barn in Newberry, SC, found the original 1940 Chevy 5 window cab, flat head 6 cyl. Had 4 speed trany, with a granny gear from hell. It was the original delivery truck for the Coca-Cola plant in Newberry,a couple weeks after the truck got to the plant a flood hit Newberry, the owner took the truck home and put it up on blocks in the barn. It stayed there until my friend found it in 1969. A couple squirts of gas and 3 turns on the hand crank she started up,purred like a kitten. To my knowledge the truck is still running as original as the day she was bought. You just can't beat'm. You have a good day, Sir.
