Beaching Sea Planes on the Fasron 106 Boat Ramp. Argentia, Nfld. 1957. That week we beached about 12 planes. It was cold, wet & a lot of ice on the ramp. Used a TD 9 Bulldozer to pull the planes up the ramp. At that time we had enough wheels in the hangar to beach 18 planes at a time. I was the main bulldozer driver for the 1st 3 days. Sometimes had to hold the brakes on the bulldozer for 10 or 15 minutes at a time.
