Grave in the Salisbury NC National Cemetery. A Vet from the Spanish American War. Were there Corpsman back then?

The Navy Hospital Corps was created during the Span/Amer War in 1898. They were not called corpsman until after WW2. However, during the late 1800's the Army's medical was also called the "Hospital Corps". So, he could have been Army or Navy!
