Worked up in Pri-Fly aboard USS Bon Homme Richard CVA-31(that`s me with the glasses) spotting types of aircraft in the groove from their silhouettes during the day or their light patterns at night.Then I would give the plane type to arresting gear officer on deck & the AG engine rooms there weight settings.
