Bad day at sea! That is a sea anchor rope trying to keep the bow into the wind. Picture taken from bridge. BIG WAVE for a 102 foot craft! Who said the TWR crews were not real deep water sailors? My first replacement with three stripes on his sleeve, went out one time, sick the whole time, came back, went to squadron and said he would never go to sea on that boat again, too rough!
