I can remember standing on the flight deck at daylight,waiting to trap and launch; and refuel all day. Secure day ops for an hour then launch night ops till 1 or 2 o'clock in the morning. Hit the rack smelling of JP-5 and getting back after it at daylight the next day all week long. 1900 traps and launches a week.
