They had CSD's. I still remember practically busting a nut lifting them when R&R was required. I also recall getting douched when a PC forgot to replace the cap and I was summoned to troubleshoot the stbd CSD light during a launch at sea while attached to the #2 cat. Later I was fined $100 for taking a "hollywood shower" trying to scrub off the mil-l-23699 that covered me. Now that was an adventure!
