After months of working to secure a suitable hotel for our New England reunion, we are pleased to announce that a contract has been signed! This marks the first reunion that the Association will host itself, and it will be held at the Sheraton Providence Airport Hotel in Warwick, RI, (http://www.sheratonprovidenceairport.com/).  This year's reunion will celebrate the 45th anniversary of the Christening of the USS L. Y. SPEAR in Quincy, MA. We choose the Sheraton Providence Airport Hotel because of its proximity to all the places we want to visit during the reunion, as well as it being close to the airport. One full day will be spent in New London visiting the Naval Submarine Base, and the Submarine Force Museum & USS NAUTILUS (SSN-571). More great events are planned that will be announced when registration forms become available.

Contact the hotel directly to make your reservations and tell them you are with the USS L. Y. SPEAR Reunion group. Hotel reservations must be made by AUGUST 4th in order to get the negotiated room rate. After that date, you may not get that rate or a room. There are only a limited number of rooms reserved at this special price, so please make your reservations as soon as possible. Your credit card WILL NOT be charged until AFTER you check-in, and you can cancel your reservation without penalty up to 24 hours prior to the first night's stay.
