  • I joined VP-44 in May 1969 until May 1974.  Made the move from Pax River to Brunswick, ME.  I joined the Squadron as an AW1,.  I changed my rate from AE-1 to AW-1 when the AW rate started.  After three years, I changed my rate back to AE-1.  I flew on several different crews during my tenure.

  • Crew 8 66-68 Julie/ECM and JEZ operator.

  • I was proud to be a member of VP-44 during the split det to Rota/Lajes in 81-82. We won the Battle E that year. It was a great trip.
