  • Was station with the wizards from 5/76 to 8/79. I was their Token Sailor (ABH1) and enjoyed the tour of duty. Some great shipmates and we did 2 MED Cruises and 1 North Atlantic on the Bid John (USS John F. Kennedy CV 67).

  • I am VAQ-133 Plank owner as an EA-6B squadron. Great group we had then. A lot of good times at Whidbey, except for all the rain and black ice. Worked in the Airframes shop as an AMHAN, AMH3 & AMH2. What a ride! My E-Mail is

ADJ while in this Squadron in 1975-76

I started my Navy enlistment in this VAQ squadron as a ADJ and enjoyed working on the EA-6B aircraft in the squadron. Standing watch in the hanger was boring until I brought my bike to work one evening. That made the watch go much faster as I could patrol the entire hanger in minutes. Visiting the EM club was a hoot and I made a few friends there that I am still in contact with. I learned a lot working on those aircraft and enjoyed my service time there.
