  • I was on board from July 1970 to August 1973. Cruised around the world literally. Served in Vietnam 1970-1971 and the Mediterranean 1972-1973. Visited Asia, Europe, Africa, North, South, Central America, and Caribbean. Survived many storms, typhoons, and arctic weather. She was a sturdy ship. The most decorated ship in the Atlantic Fleet.
