USS Schofield DEG-3

USS Schofield (FFG-3) was a Brooke-class frigate laid down on 15 April 1963 by the Lockheed Shipbuilding and Construction Co., Seattle, Washington and launched on 7 December 1963.

The first ship that I was ever on

The USS Schofield was the ship that my company at RTC San Diego , Company 239 in 1985. toured this ship, and I was immediately in love with the Navy. I truely believe that this visit to this ship was the reason why I stay in for 22 years.
