  • Sorry, I meant to say Mike not Joel.
  • She was underway quite a lot when I was aboard too, Joel. We never visited Germany or Scotland when I was aboard, however I had a layover in Dublin, Ireland when I got out.
  • I was aboard milwaukee for 11 months may of 77 till end of my enlistment in april of 78.  In that short time the ship went to The Queens Silver Jublee, visited Scotland, amsterdam, and Germany. Also spent time in the Caribbean, Rosevelt Roads, St. thomas virgian Is.  Spent a lot of time underway. Was a good crew and enjoyed my time aboard.
  • Shipmates, have a great time this weekend up in Milwaukee. Unable to attend due to employment conflict.
  • I must ask, William Towne. I see that you can enjoy the memories of the years you were in the service, and even embelished a few of those years to many, so what does one have to do to get you to talk to your 1st born son you abandoned 17 years ago?
