I was stationed aboard the Mighty Midway from 1957-1960 and worked in the office of "G" Division. My off duty job consisted of being a Disc Jockey on station KMID from 2000-2200 every night at sea. My program was 'Eddies Tune Shop'.

Still in contact with about 50 shipmates and have had 4-reuinions since the Midway became a museum in San Diego. Two of the reunions were in San Diego and we were able to go aboard each time.

We couldn't believe how small the hatches were and how steep the ladders were:+)

Enjoyed the two Far East Cruises and all of my Shipmates. Wonderful time!
