USS Capodanno (FF 1093) was the 42nd Knox class frigate in the United States Navy. It was named after Fr. Vincent Capodanno, recipient of the Medal of Honor.

Reported as RMC at PreCom, Newport, RI and left in January 77 as RMCM. Great crew - one of the best tours and sadly my last at sea.
I am a Plank Owner on the USS Capodanno. worked as a Engineman. from 73 to 77.
I was an RM3 who served aboard the Capodanno from Jun 82 - Sep 85. Had great times and made lifetime friends. I sure miss those times!
