USS Capodanno (FF 1093) was the 42nd Knox class frigate in the United States Navy. It was named after Fr. Vincent Capodanno, recipient of the Medal of Honor.

  • I also served aboard the Happy Cappy from 1980 to 1984 and remember you both! I did my 4 and opted to move into civilian life and regret it to this day! I had so many good times and life experiences aboard the Capo and as a US serviceman. thanks Don for starting this command! You always bled Navy! Cheers!
  • I was an RM3 who served aboard the Capodanno from Jun 82 - Sep 85. Had great times and made lifetime friends. I sure miss those times!
