was stationed on the belknap from feb 90- feb 93. My first 1200 pounder, lots of hard work ran both firerooms and did some time in the lab. Divisional lpo had its moments but I have to say being homeported in gaeta and on that ship brought me to be the BT I could have been always worked hard and played hard (not plitically correct nowa days). Was a great ship the names of the few that made it so great were BTC BERUBE,LTJG HAL LAMM, BTC JIMMY JONES, BT2 ZIMMERMAN, BT2 KIPP, BT2 M. JONES, AND MM1 DAN VANMINNEN. m any others I could name but these few really stood head and shoulders above the rest.. I am extremely proud to have served with every one of these guys
