NMCB Forty is a 600 person Seabee Battalion that provides contingency construction, disaster relief and humanitarian assistance to the U.S. Marine Corps and other services.

  • I joined MCB 40 in Oct. of 1969. Worked for PC2 Wiiliam Mitchell and I did such a good job making him look good he later retired as a PCC. Ha!
    I made PC2 but would not extend to put the extra chevron on.
  • Joined MCB 40 Nov 1968 coming back in the Navy after being out for 89 days. I tmade two deploments Vietnam and Rosey Roads. I transfered before going to Diego Garica
