I served at SRF Guam Code 700 from April 1973 to March 1976. As a EN2. To start with I was in charge of # 2 Engine Rm. for ^mos. the I was put in charge of the MR gang. It entailed we check all tanks and valves before a Docking Operation. The brooks joints that operated the tank valves needed to be lubed and checked. All my men were required to know how to swim.
