The Vigilantes, Fighter Squadron ONE FIVE ONE (VF-151/VFA-151) was originally commissioned Fighter Squadron TWENTY-THREE in 1948 at Naval Air Station Oceana, Virginia.

    I joined VF-151 in December 1974 to December 1977 on the World's Longest Carrier Qual.

    I served in VF-151 from Nov. of 1970 thru Sept of 1973, mostly TAD to Aviation Supply, since I was an AK3 but began my affiliation with VF-151 as an AKAN.

    If anyone knows where AK2 Bonner is, or AKAN Richard Green, it would be helpful.  Now I got to go and join the Shellback group so I won't be mistaken for a lowly polly-wog...how dreadful!

    I was in VF151 from 1966 - March1969 Started as a plane captian on F4-B 112 went into power plants 1967 seperated out in March 196
