I personally think the gold on a first class uniform just says that you never had good liberty or got caught too afraid to just say wtf and jump in proud of my 5 "RED CEVRONS AND MY RED FIRST CLASS CROW"

no I wasnot at all envious of your gold. I personally think a bt back then was work hard and play hard not getting gold did not give you any more pay. I think you gold wearing 1sts were jealous of us real bts

No, the gold just sets us apart from the chaff that goes on liberty and makes fools of themselves, and I think you might have been a little envious when we walked around with our GOLD.
