I was station in Va-205 from 1979 till 1983, served as the Quality Assurance Senior Chief, and Maintenance Senior Chief under Master Chief Sonny Marshall and Lt Wright. This was the BEST Squadron that I ever had the pleasure of serving. The Squardron won the Battle E for 4 years in a row. Some of the best sailors that I ever served with. I left in 1983 to go to the Commander , Naval Reserved Command staff in New Orleans. All good memories in VA-205.

In my ten years in the Navy I had some fantastic mentors, role models and leadership examples...Then I got to VA-205 and discovered where all the other ones were stashed...
