Put it on your "BUCKET LIST"! I encourage all Navy Vets...if you haven't been to the USS Arizona Memorial & the USS Missouri (MIGHTY MO) BB-63...take the trip. After many trips to the Islands the 2004 trip to Pearl Harbor was by far the most memorable. Just reviewing the photos of that trip...WOW!

I'll "NEVER FORGET". I was only 31/2 years old @ that time so the ATTACK did not register in my little mind. I do remember all of the following years of the war. My grandmother Grace entrusted me with Ration Coupons for a short trip up to the local store for sugar and other items. My grandfather Lee would take me in his car to the gas station for his allowed ration of gas & I got to hold the Ration book in the front seat, to me that was a very BIG DEAL.
