US Naval Forces Vietnam

The U.S. Navy's ability to project its combat power ashore in Southeast Asia, control the coastal waters off Vietnam, and provide logistic support for a major U.S. overseas military commitment mandated its heavy involvement in the Vietnam War. Naval operations took place in the South China Sea, among myriad islands, along the coastline of Vietnam, and on thousands of nautical miles of rivers and canals.See More

Greetings Chief, I saw your post  and wanted to ask your advice.I just recently started having alot of breathing problems. I was a HT for 6 yrs on board floating drydocks the whole time.Alot of exposure to asbestos. I just started this process and am already discouraged and tired of all the testing and poking around.I have  been on full disabilty [ssd]for 5 yrs now that is not related to the breathing problems. I have asbestos in my r/lung and have gradually started having more problems.I have real bad coughing spells to the point of choking and almost passing out. The doctors tell me that I only have it in one lung and that isnt that serious.I know how I feel inside and it doesn't feel right. Is this how yours felt when it started?
