Red Skelton! Boy does that bring back some pleasant memories! Too bad we don't have someone like him in the media today! The company just before ours did the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. We almost were going to do a half-time time show on a network football game. But, the powers to be shot it down as not a sufficiently important enough event for the Navy image. So, instead we wound up at an Admiral's luncheon and honors ceremony. Never saw much gold braid before or since in one place!

Welcome fellow choir member!

Was Dr Williams there in 66? Was in the choir in 72! We seem to be able to travel off base more than any other group during basic. Be sure to join the "Bluejacket's Choir" group!
