Not too long ago we applied for a VA home loan pre-qualification with a company that has advertised on this site. After several phone conversations and e-mails back and forth I was told that because of a significant hit on my credit rating I was not eligible for a VA loan. The company 'Veterans United Home Loan" would not work with me to overcome or fix or whatever the right word is.

Hello to all
I was stationed aboard the USS America CVA-66 from Dec. 1970 till Sept.1972 G-1 Division. I left the ship on our mail plane (COD) while at Yankee Station in the Tonkin Gulf and landed in DaNang, Air Base in transient to San Francisco for separation. What I would like to find out has anyone else during their Vietnam duty left their ship while on station and went to Vietnam? and if so how did you show or prove to VA that it happen that way.
