Gun's,

Great to have you as a Friend. Thinking back to my days stationed in Key West, I have to thank the GM's aboard the USS John R. Perry DE-1034 for looking after All of my Liquor that I bought during our liquor runs to St.Thomas, V. I. in the early 60's. They would be: Robert J. Hawes, GMCA, Jacob W. Boring, GM3, George O. Farris, GM2, David J. Ormond, GM3 and Victor Vichlach, GM3. They were Plank Owner's as was I back then.

This coming May 5th it will be 60 years since we commissioned the DE-1034. As the years pass it becomes harder for me to track all of my former Plank Owner Shipmates.
