"I was born in High Point, lived in several towns in NC for almost 18 years. Joined the Navy in 1972 in Monroe NC, and went with an all state company to Orlando FL..I was medically retired in 1980 as an SM2."

I may have been at your stand tall, DP1 Silva, female type. If I am not mistaken, didnt CPO McDaniel instruct you to say thats affirmative rather than aye aye? I remember a CC chewing one of his boots out for saying that and Chief Mac stood up for him. I

I knew 2 of your shipmates onboard from 1985-1988/89. They are friends of mine from PA. Names are Greg Weaver and T.A. Miller. I was on the USS Prairie AD-15 across the water from you on Pier 15 on the Mole. Greg and T.A. took me onboard and showed me around when the "MO" was being recommissioned.
