Lots of guys can't remember anything about what they did a few years ago. Must be nice to be like that. I can't help but remember stuff I did/saw/said clear back to my little boy days. Maybe someday I will be sitting quietly in a chair with a blank stare on my face and drool running out the corner of my mouth. Everyone I had known for years will be like meeting new people every day!
I write my own stuff. It is all true to the best of my recollection, BUT, since no one can remember back that far, I can pack them full of BUL**** too, and they wouldn't know the difference!
Loved your "Where in Hell Did They Go?" story! I have written a bunch of stuff too. I have over 40 blog stories on my page. Most are about my Navy times. Thanks!
In the 80's we got more creative with blow darts - we used the cocktail toothpicks - the ones with the plastic tail fins already on them - load them in a straw and blow - went real nicely into the ceiling panels!
