Where were you or your family stationed?
Stationed all over the place. Yokosuka Japan, on the USS Midway (CV-41) 1980-82, Fleet Ocean Surveillance Information Facility (FOSIF) Rota, Spain 82-85, Commander Task Group 168.3 (EURFAST) Naples, Italy, 85-87, then FOSIF Westpac, Kamiseya, Japan, 1988-1991. Then I left active duty in APR1991. Took the summer off and affiliated with the U.S. Navy Reserves in the fall. I was part of the reserves until my retirement in Oct of 2004. I spent most of my time at the Joint Intelligence Center Pacific (JICPAC) unit detachment at Ft. Lewis, Army base in Washington State. I did spend at least 5 summers sometimes more on active duty there. Since I was self employed I could leave what I was doing for extended periods of time.

Hi Dave, good to hear from you! I remember the cowboy hat. I had a classmate at IS school who went to Rota, her name is Rose Vigil, did you work with her? Yeah, some good times in CVIC. Learned from ISCS Hubbard how to work as a IS, rainform after rainform after rainform, ISCS sat next to me, made sure it was right! He is a legend in the IS community!
