Hello Jim, Read your article. Great idea....recently was the motion picture Battleship and your idea reminds me of the picture. A similiar picture named American Warships has similiar theme but with another historical Battleship.
I think you will enjoy both. I am retired Navy and just recently discovered I could volunteer for assisting reserve units during drill weekends under permissive orders (no pay, etc). I will be starting that in August at a nearby NOSC. Do not think there are many old ships in my immediate area but love your idea. Good luck.
