Talking about doing pushups...my Company 121 had just gone through an inspection in a drill hall NOBODY got a "HIT"of any kind for anything. As marched out of the drill hall our CC called for a HALT. ...were all looking at each other when all of a sudden our CC starts screamin "GIMME 20!!"Now it wasn't fair I know but the street we were was like a block long and was flooded up to the top of the curb.CC made us touch the street with the front of our body..all the way down when we went down ALL THE WAY we actually had our faces in the water and by the time we had done like 20 pushups our uniforms were soaking wet as a matter of fact everything we had on was wet.

It was much different in San Diego in November when I got to RTC. The temperature never got below freezing. We did get a lot of rain in Dec and Jan

Now I don't know about any of you other guys …..But my 9 weeks at Gt Lakes started with @ 8-10 inches of snow.Naturally we were gettings hits on uniform inspection(my goodness whatever for)OH I remember...8-10 inches of snow..We also got hit for uniforms being wet along with boots. We went through 1 inspection in one of the drill halls.Company Commander didn't say anything....HOWEVER!!! when we left the drill hall and were heading back to our barracks we were ALL made do pushups in a puddle that was like a small pond. The inspection we took BEFORE going into the drill hall nobody got hit for anything...can't win for losin

I can't remember why I asked this. But it was over a week ago so it's probably too late now but if the cops come around I'll tell them "wherever he went, that's where he is.

I've got a bad case of CRS myself. Sometimes I can't remember what I did tomorrow.
