We had a nice group of guys, about 12. We lived in the barracks built on pileings in the middle of the river. We took turns running the 50 foot liberty launch to and from the station to the shore landing. Also an office and control room for the deperming process when a ship tied up in one of the slips. Another sailor and I did  the cooking.
