I made a mistake, my company was 59-340, not 59-318.

RECRUIT is currently getting a much-needed paint job and exterior restoration...the work started in mid-November 2014 and should be completed by February 2015...

Drill Company 944 (1977).

What can I do to help? Also: Walt I recall a time when no one thanked me for my service while on active duty. A result of the Vietnam Era and the way civilians looked down on the military. Lasted until Reagan became president and changed things. My how we need someone like him now1

I schooled aboard the USS Recruit 1964 company 036, I got a chance to see the USS Recruit Oct. 2010 it is a memorial now. People in San Diego on bikes and walking thanked me for being in the Navy. Where the Training center was it is very relaxing now. Some of the old building still exist.
