Good 'ol Who's on First....yeah Brad had some great times in there. Had some seriously good time in Boston. Especially at Whitey's. And I 100% agree with you that was the best times of my life.

Frog...I was stationed with Geppy in New London and we ran together for 2 years there...riding bikes, partying, even had a garage/clubhouse we lived in part  time. What a hoot that was. I went back to New London about 5 years ago to hang out with the lead civilian welder of the pipe shop, Frank Lebel. Frank told me Geppy passed away. Stomach cancer got him. RIP brother Tim.

I was watching that movie the town which was filmed in Boston and during a scene outside fenway park I got a quick glimpse of that bar Who"s on First. We had some great times in there.25 cent beers on Tuesday nights if you had your mug. and I remember that comedian who would give you a shot of peppermint snapps if you guessed the song he was playing on his guitar.Boston was probably the year in my life I had the most fun and memories.

Hey, Donald!  Thanks for the WEB address!  I served on her Sister, the Hector and appreciate the below decks diagrams!  Sorry to see all the Vulcan class gone, but that's the way it goes.

My dad's ship was in the same convoy as the Vulcan on the way to Invade North Africa in 1942..

Don't know if this has been listed before; it's a nice history of Vulcan with pics of her in the James River Fleet and the engineering drawings of the ship.
