I served in the Nimitz from November 1976-March 1979.I was a mess management specialist, assigned to S-2 Division.

Hoping to meet some of my fellow division members through this network.

Howdy, I served aboard her from 1974 to 1978 in S-6 Division as Balance Crew. I knew lots of folks from the Air Wing Squadrons and I was LPO/CPO in the Supply Response Section. It would be kick A** to hear from some of the now Old Fogies I served with back in the day!!!

I was on the USS Nimitz from 1972 to 1975.  I was on the pre-commissioning crew in Newport News, VA.  I got out of the Navy in August of 1975 just after our certification in Cuba.

I was on USS Nimitz from 1979 to 1980 as the CAG MO. Great memories on a great ship. I was onboard for the 2 beer celebration at 150+ days at sea, the hostage attempt with helo maintenance support and the take over of the ship by the Polly Wogs as we crossed the Equator on 9 Jan 1980
