USS Capodanno (FF 1093) was the 42nd Knox class frigate in the United States Navy. It was named after Fr. Vincent Capodanno, recipient of the Medal of Honor.

Reported as RMC at PreCom, Newport, RI and left in January 77 as RMCM.  Great crew - one of the best tours and sadly my last at sea.

I am a Plank Owner on the USS Capodanno. worked as a Engineman. from 73 to 77.

I also served aboard the Happy Cappy from 1980 to 1984 and remember you both! I did my 4 and opted to move into civilian life and regret it to this day! I had so many good times and life experiences aboard the Capo and as a US serviceman. thanks Don for starting this command! You always bled Navy! Cheers!

I was an RM3 who served aboard the Capodanno from Jun 82 - Sep 85. Had great times and made lifetime friends. I sure miss those times!

I was onboard from 1979 to 1981. The greatest command I served at.Had the best time of my Navy career onboard the HAPPT CAPPY
