TP Bethea, sounds like you were one of our brother companies. I was in company 3014 and we did not have any sister companies.

Aug - Oct 1975 Company 047 CC RM1 Arthur Curinga a.k.a. Tasmanian Devil. Great guy, great training. I think we got 2 flags, maybe only 1. Near the end of training, I was appointed company yeoman. Go Navy!

Anyone remember company commander Graham or Staples? They were in Orlando from around 75 to 78, BM1 Graham made Chief and TM1 Staples I think made Chief too. They were my company commanders from December 1976 to February 1977 (Company 106/2nd Regiment/6th Bat.). Also, Battalion 6 Commander Lt. R. D. Harshman. If I recall correctly, he was fighter pilot.

BTCS (Retired) Mark Quinn -

I was a BT1 Company Commander from June 1985 to 1988 and pushed 5 companies through. Great experience, loved every minute of it.

Invited to RTC Orlando for boot camp on Christmas Eve 1970, where the new boots were greeted with champagne, barbeque and smiling, friendly faces.  Well, maybe not.  Onward to ET-A in Treasure Island and eventually the mighty USS Kansas City (AOR-3) in 1973.  Life was great!  Which is why I bitched about it all day every day.

RTC Orlando, Sep. - Dec. 1973.  We were a drill company and were the first to have basic extended from 8 to 16 weeks.  Glory!
