I was a Dental Tech stationed at NAS Sanford and re-assigned to NTC Orlando (Actually Orlando Naval Hospital) in May 1968. When I arrived for duty it was still Orlando AFB and I worked for a USAF MSGT until the Navy took over. I still have my Plank Owner certificate hanging on the wall.

I was in boot camp rtc 1979, then transfered to NTC in 1980, worked recruits paper work in 1980 to 1983 at RTC during that time. Had some good friends on that base, worked with Chief Fuller , Jonsey frm firman school and his groups that went thru fireman school. Met my husband there Petty Office Mike Daniels. Wondering if Rebecca Evans is out there, Dishinger, Sparky etc. please respond if you are on navy vets, be nice to talk to you again.

Hello everyone. I am new member here and was in bootcamp in Company K023 in the end of 1989 into 1990. My Company Commanders were BMC Vicki Hickam and SM1 Roy Smith. Been looking for some of the ladies I served with there so contact me if you were in same company.

I was transferred to NTC Orlando Public Affairs after several months at the RTC Orlando office. Worked with the civilian base paper editor Janet Acres (later, Dillon, I think). Wrote speeches for the captain and escaped from the office every Friday afternoon and delivered papers with a first class named Howard Pepper. His wife and I were great friends.
