I went TAD to NCS Yokosuka from the COM7thFLTFLGALW on the USS Oklahoma City in October of '70.  Stayed there until transferred to NSC Oakland in January of '71.  I worked with RMC Wimpy and an RM1 called 'Blackie'.  Great duty working 'nine to five' M-F and going home to my little apartment at the end of the day.  Yokosuka was a great place to live then.

Captain Bikle was my Commanding Officer at NAVCOMMSTA JAPAN and I graduated from Naval Schools Command Norfolk as a CYN3 assigned to the Staff Administration Offices at NAVCOMMSTA JAPAN assisting the Microwave Officer, Lt. Carlson, from 1969 to December 1970, making E-5, 2nd Class Yeoman, and released to Reserve Status U.S Naval Station, Treasure Island, San Francisco, completing my Naval Service in 1973.

I have had a career in Administration with UCLA Healthcare and my goal is to relocate to San Diego and to meet fellow Navy vets.
