Born and raised in Redford Twnsp just West of Detroit .. Joined USNR in Southfield, MI in Jan 1970 .. Lucky 'cause in Feb as being the Number 10 draft pick they tried to get me in the Army .. was just two weeks ahead of 'em on on that one.  Wound up in Vietnam anyway the next year.  I still have two Sisters living near Ann Arbor .. but my homestead is now in California .. Always proud to be from Michigan.

Thanks for the "welcome aboard" Richard.....thinks in Michigan are looking up!  Weather's getting warmer (88 degrees today); the State thinks we'll pull in more revenue that they first thought a few months ago and more businesses are moving into Michigan!  Woot  woot!

Welcome aboard Al. Glad to have you join us. There's a lot of Navy you have there. Looks like you were working at the Dearborn Plant when my Uncle and cousins were there. Always good to see how committed my fellow Michiganders were to the Navy and our country. Makes me proud. Hope you had a great Easter. Once again, welcome aboard Shipmate. Have a great week!
