United States European Command

The United States European Command (EUCOM) is one of nine Unified Combatant Commands of the United States military, headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany. Its area of focus covers 51 countries and territories, including Europe, Russia, Iceland, Greenland, and Israel. Commanded by a U.S. four-star flag officer (CINCUSEUCOM) also known as U.S. Commander in Chief, Europe (CINCEUR) from headquarters at Patch Barracks in Stuttgart-Vaihingen, Germany. CINCUSEUCOM serves concurrently as Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) and is responsible for operational command of all U.S. forces in Europe and parts of Africa and the Middle East.
